bmw gs vs connie

Biker Boyz - Never had a single problem with my '03 GS1150. Other than some minor surging the bike has been 100% problem-free. Not as flexible as my KLR off-pavement, but one helluva nice bike on the road. I do all my own service, which on a GS, is a piece of cake. So easy to work on. (Get comfy on a shop stool and the valve adjusters are right there in your lap.) No body contortions necessary. Build quality is excellent. Dealer support is excellent. There's a reason the GS's are so popular with the Iron Butt crowd. Main reason I own the GS? No other bike fits my 6'4" frame as well. (KLR and KTM Adventure close seconds.) I can really stretch out on that honkin' GS. I love my KLR too, but for significantly different reasons. Regards, Busauto --------------------------------- Never miss a thing.
