They will still be sitting in your bag when it's time to replace the OEM chain after 20,000 miles, if it's well maintained and adjusted properly. Have fun. --Jim A-15
> thanks for all the advice/opinions; great help as usual. Will not
break chain down to put link in; will keep links, small length of chain, and silicone handy; hope to never use any of them.

nklr energy, space etc

All of the other programs won't mean squat if this planet is on a collision course with a comet or asteroid. I'm all for the space program and wouldn't mind if every cent of my taxes went toward it. I think we get a heck of a lot more than just "the next miracle adhesive". Energy independence absolutely must be at the top of the list of priorities. Maybe the technology for that could be a spinoff of the space program. Would most people want to give up everything based on satellites? gps? How about microwaves, computers and related technologies, electronics, integrated circuits, medical technologies, solar photovoltaics. Is one penny for every tax dollar spent too much to put into the space program for all the direct and indirect benefits we have received? Just search on "benefits of space technology" and look at all of the information available on benefits we have derived. In general the space program is a tiny part of the tax dollar and has enormous spinoff benefits that helps the vast majority of people on the planet and likely could save the planet whether from a space object heading this way, climate change, environmental and conservation technologies. My preferences for the priorities would be for energy independence, space technologies, environmental and conservation programs. -Mike ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
