Morning all,
I'm sure this is a long shot, but just in case anyone is close enough
and looking - I am selling my 1996 KDX200. I bought it this past
summer with the intentions of converting my KLR to pure street, and
using this to play in the dirt. What did I learn - I am too old for
something this fast in the dirt!!!
I decided to sell the KDX to fund a front end replacement for the KLR
as well as some other goodies. The specs are
1996 KDX200, excellent condition
New brakes, wheel brgs, tires, Knarly Woods pipe, Pro Circuit silencer.
Located in Western NY.
Asking $1500 obo.
KLR content - I have a decent lathe and a press, along with a working
knowledge of how to use them - what else is needed in terms of tools
to do the front end conversion. Thanks.

part id info - please
Hi all, what is the name and part number of the black plastic
rectangular-ish cap that fits over the kick stand where the stand
meets the bike frame?
My guess is that the black plastic cap covers the kick stand kill
switch?, or protects the rigging that houses the spring to bring up
and hold the kick stand up? What does that cover do/protect exactly?
Anyway, what is that part number?
Does anyone have one of those black plastic covers that they want to
sell?
And, how important is that cover?
Eddie
