I have an A7 which appears to be leaking oil from the doohickey adjuster
hole.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It works great on the brittle, sportbike-style plastic of the new '08 KLRs, but it doesn't work on the flexible, Tupperware-style plastic of the older KLRs. -- Blake Sobiloff http://www.sobiloff.com/> San Jose, CA (USA) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]> have you tried > plastex from plastex.net?

doohickey adjuster hole oil leak
You will need to replace the o-ring on the adjuster bolt. The cover will need to be removed in order to do this. An alternate temporary fix would be to us an aerosol brake or electrical parts cleaner after removing the plug and make a new plug by filling the hole with silicone. Do this with the bike leaning far to the right and allow at least 24 hours to dry before use. That should stop the leak until you are ready to repair it properly or need to make an adjustment.
