Do you still have your JC Penney Catalog scan? (Jennifer was a model for JC Penney) I almost had tears in my eyes first time to Mexico after the accident. Conall '93,'95 KLR650 --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Ronald Criswell wrote:

Its really kind of hard to talk about... Jennifer was the kind of woman that most men can only dream about... tall, blue eyes, long flowing blond hair.... Swedish Bikini Team comes to mind..;-). And her dirt riding skills on her KLR were legendary ...she could embarrass most of guys in the Socal KLR riders group with her skills in the dirt. She met her untimely demise many years ago now on the back road into Ensenada, where a fish taco truck pulled into the path of her .. um.. shall we say.. quick moving... KLR. This happened just before I became involved with the KLR group, so I did not get a chance to attend her funeral, but maybe some of the older members can fill you in on the details... My Moab contact told me there was an anniversary of sorts for Jennifer. I miss her too. I see the Texans and Californians are fondly recalling the WD-40 discussion with Jennifer - as I recall, Jennifer's problem was the lack of viscosity in WD-40, so somebody suggested a mix using 3-in-1 oil, or maybe 90 weight gear oil so that the WD-40 wouldn't run out quite as fast. Not sure if she got to use it on her chain, as she passed on soon after that. Fireball --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Ronald Criswell wrote:

In memory of our dear, departed Jennifer............."If it tastes like fish, it's a tasty dish; if it smells like cologne, leave it alone!" Thank you, Bob Keefe.
