Check this out! I was filling my tank with gas, and doofus that I am ,
managed to make a slip and spray gasoline all over my lap, dash and
windsheild. Gas ran all down onto the engine too.I was afraid it would
explode, being a hot day, and a hot motorcycle, and I jumped away. I
then grabbed a handfull of paper towels, and by the time I went to
wipe it off, most had evaporated. But then I noticed cracks in the
windsheild and the areas around the thumb screws was falling apart,
and just crumbled away! Just like that, within a minute or two of the
time I spilled gas on it.
Do you think it was the rapid cooling of the evaporating gasoline that
caused this, or is it just that cheap of plastic?
Any way, I did need a good excuse to buy the taller one!
