I could not figure out why my bike stopped worse than normal using the
front break. I called a local shop and the guy asked if I had any fork
seals leaking. Well I did about a month or two ago and the oil
saturated the pads and now I could not lock up the front end on ice. I
was reading about changing the seals using air pressure on the KLR Faq
page. Has anyone else done it that way? I am also interested in
getting some of the play out of the front suspension. I read about
using 15w oil and maybe even a piece of pvc pipe to help take up some
of the spring space. Progressive springs is not an option. no $$$

2008 klr auxiliary/free 12volt wires
Hello to the group
Would anyone know if the new KLR has the auxiliary 12
V wires like the previous one used for running lights
in other countries ?
I also remember buying a repair manual on a CD for my
A14 and I'm wondering if anyone knows of such CD for
the 2008.
Thanks and safe ride
