MORE ON WATERPUMP HOSES I have been looking at my 6 yr water hose
and wondering what to do. I have a section of hose and pvc splice in
my tools. Now I can replace it and carry the old one.
Goodyear # 63936 Dayco #80416 Gates 28479
I called around and using the Goodyear number got the other 2
references. Prices at AutoZone and O'Rileys = $18. Pep Boys was $19.
Another good reason for muddling through all for the messages.

Here is an item that I saw in one of my automotive trade magazines. With it you could use bulk 3/4" hose. It is a stainless steel coil that slides over the hose and allows you to bend it up to 90 degrees without collapsing it. The coils might even help to dissipate heat. You could carry just the hose bending coil on a trip since you can always find the bulk hose. http://www.carbuyersnotebook.com/archives/2007/04/bend_it_shape_i.htm#more Steve A16 "DuraThump"> > Summit Racing Equipment - GTR-63936 - $11.39 > http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=GTR%2D63936> > > Walt > > > > MORE ON WATERPUMP HOSES I have been looking at my 6 yr water hose > > and wondering what to do. Hello walt, rusty, list- I think I am lost in the weeds trying to understand the answer to the question that has not been asked. Was there an original question, like, "Is their a suitable substitute for the KLR water hose?" If there was, it went past me in a BFO. =blinding flash of the obvious. The previous thread/discussion talks about bends in the hose, bending the hose. Looking at my KLR hose, and thinking if it comes to replacing the hose--it looks like an OEM solution, or am I missing something here? or are the SNIP> > Steve > A16 "DuraThump" >
suitable substitutes for I.D., etc? and who cares about the bends? besides my Navy diving buddies. So the question remains, what KLR problem was being solved? revmaaatin. some days its wheat, some days I am in the weeds.> > > Goodyear # 63936 Dayco #80416 Gates 28479 unSNIP

The stock hose set will cost about $60 from the dealer, but a Goodyear #63936 heater hose can be cut to fit all three pieces and costs about $25 Replacement hose clamps are also available from your local auto parts store. I have had a problem with Netscape mail, so I am trying out MS Outlook.
Every
message from this group has about a page and a half of computer code on the
bottom. Anyone know how to get rid of it?
Thank you in advance.
