starvin for gas

Post by bswearing » Tue Jun 20, 2006 3:00 pm

I was ridin the other day and my KLR just started missing, now it won't hardly start and when it does it dies out when I give it the gas. I've taken the carb of I don't see anything wrong in it. I've checked the vents they seem to be alright. But i'm missing something, can anyone help? Thanks Bill

rad hose id?

I'm sure you know this trick. Place the end of the hose in boiling water to make it pliable for easier installation. Don Bill Watson wrote: Jeff, the radiator hoses and barbs are around .800". I get away with using 3/4" hose (.750") on the external thermostat, but it is a snug fit over the barbed fittings.
