I'm very excited to have finally upgraded from my 03' KLR250 to an 06'
Kawasaki Green KLR650! I pick it up Saturday from the dealer!
Just a few questions regarding "lowering" the seat height:
Which lowering links are recommended by folks who have used them?
Also, are they something you can install at home?
What's the concensus on the Corbin dished seat?
Thanks in advance for your responses!

crash outside of chama
Not me but as I was going south outside of Chama NM Monday morning at
about 6:30 AM, 2 cops past me at a high rate of speed. A coupla miles
down the road a dead mule deer was lying at the edge of the road with
a sportbike or naked sport bike in the ditch a little bit farther. I
didn't see any sign of the rider as I guess he was already gone in an
ambulance. The cops were talking to what I guessed was a witness.
Anybody know of the crash or the status of the rider. I saw 2 more
mule deer at the edge of the road (very much alive and dumb) on the
way over the mountains east of Taos. Shoot all of them hunters. Bike
riders be slow and careful in their territory (which is almost
everywhere these days).

Which ever give you the lowering you want. The most common seems to be about 1.5 inch. You can also get a set which have holes for 1,2 & 3 inch.
