world's cheapest klr mod

The plastic parts was cheap but I still can't do this with my KLR because I don't have the metal guards to start with. --- keithrstone wrote:

What self-respecting KLR owner would attach soda bottles to their pride and joy? I mean really, is this the kind of thing you want other motorcyclists thinking of KLR riders?? Where is it going to end..............home-made wire-mesh headlight sheilds? Have you no pride? --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "keithrstone" wrote:

Hold on there. I've never seen a plastic bottle with those aluminum hand protectors. I'll bet that cost a bit more than a throw away bottle.

Used bottle-you mean out of a ditch somewhere? 4 zip ties-a little scrounging shoulda netted at least 4 used condoms, they'd work. Now, your headed for cheap. Condoms would certainly qualified under the heading of sexy and functional. Hands are warm and dry today... of course with today's weather they would have been anyway! Day 1 with my new Premium Handguard Covers installed. Keith

your comments vital for draft moab ea! nklr

I appreciate all the interest in my "backyard" but I doubt the BLM will ever come to any agreement. These commenting periods have been going on since I have been here. (25 years) and as far as I know nothing much has changed. If everyone that rides off road would respect the land and leave the land in better shape than they found it, we wouldn't have to be writing letters everytime we turn around. To be honest, I am tired of the whole Game. Rock crawlers, four wheelers and those that ride off trail are going to ruin it for the rest of us. You can check with what's going on here and the BLM at their web site (dead at the moment) http://www.blm.gov/utah/moab/ Fred www.arrowheadmotorsports.com
