looking for tips

Post by Reggie bann » Thu Feb 23, 2006 3:43 pm

I messed up my front fender and badly bent the bracket that holds on the front fairing. I was hoping to use this as an oppertunity to do something diffrent with my KLR. I checked out bigcee.com, and he said that Acerbis mini fairing will fit, but I found that won't work with out taking off the speedometer. I'm not srue if that's illegel or not. Anyhow, if some one has any ideas, that would be great. --------------------------------- Find your next car at Yahoo! Canada Autos [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Good point Ron. I'm thinkin we need to make sure some of us ole timers should leave word with someone to update the groups in case of our demise. God Bless my lost Bros Stan and Jim, who both died in the last couple years. They both attended this group. Goin on further about crappy movies, I had no idea the KLR existed till I saw Brad Pitt's movie released in 97 in the US. Go rent it and cuss me later. Dark Side of The Sun was the name of it. I became obsessed with the KLR, after that, and got one a couple years later. The 03 Hoss has near 33,000 miles on it now and keeps goin for me, contrary to what some think we need to do to it. Thanks to Mikey for the nice idler lever. My stocker crashed at 20,000. Other than that, I haven't done squat. Rod,,,with ticket number 955 for the Bike Week Harley drawin at Daytona Beach and watchin any scooterin movie without malice --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Ron Criswell wrote:
