tires opinions dunlop 607

Post by Shawn Frazer » Sun Jan 08, 2006 7:54 pm

I have an 06 klr 650. I will do most of my riding on blacktop and I was looking at the Dunlop 607. Is anyone out there using this tire? What are your opinions on wear and handling. I was wanting a tire that was a longer wearing tire. My stock tires are wearing faster than I would like them to at 700 miles. Thanks Shawn --------------------------------- Yahoo! Shawn: I tried the D607s on a long road trip and was quite pleased. Great grip and cornering, stable on straights. The only cornering limitation was my brakes. I was able to hang with my slower sport bike buds, at least 'till they got to the long straights, horsepower ya know :-) Got 4,000+ miles and had enough left to save them when I changed to Conti TKC-80s for some dual sporting. I and my left 10th rib can tell you the 607s are a little iffy off road, at least for me. (no fork brace, btw) Tony G. A16 "Badger" --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Shawn Frazer wrote:
