Hello to all,
I want to thank y'all in advance for any help with this. I am
looking at getting an oversized brake rotor for my 05' KlR. I saw
different kinds and types from wave type to one that looks like stock
just bigger in diameter. I was just wandering what everybody else
favors, and your opinions.
By the way I use my KLR a lot. I have 16,037 miles on my 05'
already and am getting 62 MPG with it thanks to my head modification I
did to it. I am loving the Mileage now with the gas at over $3 a
gallon.
I also had a KLR sighting in Marlton NJ at church and Greentree
roads last Thurs. the 8th in front of commerce bank. It was the army
green color. If it was any of you let me know maybe we can hookup and
ride somtime.

question on oversized brake rotors?
Don,
I don't have any experience with the oversize brake rotor. I don't seem
to need one. Last year I was able to lock up the rear wheel and chirp
the front tire while fully loaded. For me the brakes work fine. I think
if I was gonna try a larger rotor I'd get the one that I think Fred
sells. If I recall correctly it's 320mm.
Can you share with the list about the head mods you did. Pretty
impressive mileage and mpg for an 05. What kind of riding and at what
speeds are you getting those results?
Thanks, and best,

dyno charts for mods.
Sorry no Dyno charts were mad before the work. Because I don't have
access to a Dyno meter. I wish i did it would help me with a lot of my
paper and pencil figuring. which is a bunch of numbers and figure and
formula. They suck. Thank god for a calculator.
