It's the headlight, the taillight, and the instruments. The turn
signals and neutral indicator work (horn too!)...but all is dark
otherwise.
The two fuses (10A and 20A) under the seat above the battery are
visually good. Are there other fuses somewhere?
Any ideas?

lights out!
There is one more fuse behind your right side tank shroud, but that is
for your fan so don't bother messin with that.
Have you or anyone else done anything to the bike lately? I'm inclined
to think that it might be a problem with your main harness plug behind
the fairing, or one of the wires in it. How many miles on the bike?
Is there a wire that has rubbed on something for long enough and is now
shorted out or broken?

Not sure if the fuse would be the problem, given the symptoms, but always check the fuses with an ohmmeter (or a new fuse). The link doesn't always blow in the middle, sometimes they're bad and look OK. Krokko -- Dr. J. Wait, make sure you put the left grip on the left and
the right one on the right (right is larger)
Use a razor and file, or cheese grater to remove old
grips, glue. They are an SOB to get on, be patient!
