Have you looked at a Yamaha Timberwolf yet? It's about as low a seat height as I can recall for something street-legal. I thought Timberwolf's were ATV's?? Do you mean the TW200? The TW200 is certainly short...but not much good around town. I have a buddy who's got one. Good trail bike if you don't need much power. My bride has been looking at the Yamaha XT225. She's not as short as 5 feet, but she's a girly girl...no overly strong, so the XT225 seems to be a good fit for her. Kawasaki Super Sherpa 250, Yamaha XT225. The Sherpa's are no longer sold in the states unless you buy one used - there's one on eBay now. My wife has the Sherpa, she's 5'4" and it fits her great. It's a sweet little bike on the trails too, feels like a BMX bike to me after riding the KLR. oh, and sticky floats and needle valves can drop milage. raising and lowering the float can mimick jet changes but w/ poorer rusults.

Suggested reading: http://64.41.127.32/guide/kl250supersherpa.html You can check out commentary on a lot of bikes at this site. I recommend the Kawasaki KL250 Super Sherpa. You'll have to buy a used one in the USA, but Kawasaki still makes them, so parts availability is not an issue. The Yamaha XT-225 is a good bike, but I've been on both, and the Sherpa is better, IMO. The KLR-250 is also a good bike, but it's kick start only (although it's easy to start) and seat height is higher than the Sherpa. Of course, I am biased, my wife has a Sherpa. She has no problem keeping up with me on my KLR. Mike
