another stolen klr

Post by Lujo Bauer » Sat Oct 04, 2003 11:18 am

Hi, gang. My KLR got stolen last night. It was parked behind my house in the Shadyside neighborhood in Pittsburgh. The bike is an A13 with shrouds and fairing painted yellow, a tall shield, Givi E45 top box, and Zega panniers. The last three images at http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~lbauer/klr/low-fender/ are what the bike looked like at the time it was stolen. VIN is JKAKLEA15XA050041. If you see it wondering around, give me a yell. Thanks. -Lujo [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

another stolen klr

Post by Gregg Wagner » Wed Mar 30, 2005 9:07 am

The '04 that I had been collecting parts for (because it was vandalized two weeks ago) has now been stolen. I am in Sunnyside, Queens in New York City. I had no real idea that there is such a hunger for these bikes here! It was missing the seat (I have it in my apartment), and the reg/rect, so if anyone in NYC sees such a bike let me know. Sadly, Gregg

Radio Shack would be my first guess. Second would be a parts store (autozone, advanced, ect.)
