single cylindar mileage

Just wanted to know if 12000 miles is alot on a single and if you would buy one if the price is right. I found a 2002 ktm lc4 with 12000 mileage in mint condition but am worried about the mileage. I know a KLR can handle it. Not sure about KTM.

Oh ya Dan and there is a Yakima front wheel mount bolted alongside the bike tray so the front wheel has a place to go....
