Yup. Just a little. It often leads to discovering cool new outdoor places -- that's my favorite thing about it. -Lujo matteeanne@... wrote:

Yes, geocaching is a blast. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/ for everything you ever wanted to know. Punch in your zip code, and you will find more caches in your area than you would ever expect. Its a great treasure hunt activity. Great fun for small kids and anyone else. It gives me a reason to get my kids out of the house, hiking, and they like it enough that they will happily do it again. It will probably lead you to new places in your area that you would otherwise never find. If you already have a GPS, its a excellent way to put it to use. Fun stuff. Especially with a friend or two. http://www.geocaching.com/ Just punch in your zip code or location and it will give you caches in your vicinity. Never done it on a bike before though.

Timely thought! Try www.starrynight.com for some good user-friendly info. about the night skies. But there I go again, that old Navy influence . . . When you mentioned "heavenly bodies," I remembered another link; on Fred's 'observatory' webpage: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/umbrella_girl.html Happy New Year! Pat M ;-)
