..........Nearly stayed there two weeks ago on my 2,500 mile eight day trip up and down the Eastern Spine. Instead, I camped at Ironhorse (Motorcycle Resort) in nearby Stecoah, NC. It's relatively new, very nice, and Charlene (who runs it with hubby John who wasn't around then) is a sweetheart. It's even closer to the Dragon, Cherohala, and some decent Great Smokies dirt roads and offroad. Highly recommended. Willville in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, is a good stopover on the way up or down from the Northeast. Will is laid back, knowledgeable and helpful, and runs what appears to have become something of a motorcycle travellers institution (and I don't mean synonymous with asylum). Steve The Mule A17
