I suddenly have no turn signals so figured the flasher/relay
whatever-it's called went out. I pulled the tank off of my '92 and
I can't find anything that looks like the picture in the repair
manual. Can anyone clue me in on which side of the bike I should be
looking at (looks like the left in the manual due to the radiator in
the frame but all my electrical stuff is on the right)?
I found one relay type thing but it's got 4 leads so I don't think
that's it...
Yeah, I searched the archive, but you can only search so far back
before you get really tired of hitting 'next'.
Thanks,
John

John,
under the tank, under the backbone tube, offset to the right just a
little bit. I think it has 2 leads.

Never mind.... I found this info:
http://www.customdynamics.com/load_equalizer_diodes.htm
It turns out that the indicator light in the instrument cluster
allows the current to cross over to the other side, making all 4
flash. The diodes act as a one-way gate to prevent this.

Mark,
Did you get the PowerPoint presentation w/ the full LED signals I sent you as
a file attachment (about 2 meg)? I made my own diode setup using 2-diodes
(under a $1.00)
