Any idea what the KTM 950 is going for in Canada, I know the MRSP is 16,700,, but I am trying to find out how much of a dealer discount there is.... I have a 2001 KLR 650 with 2500 kms or 1500 mile on it,,,what would it be worth,,,, ' Thnaks for your opinions... db Regina SK CND

Pat That's some pretty bold statements you made! Maybe you just have met enough lister's. I'm sure there's some very competent riders on this list. Even with the correct tire pressures I seem to wear out the rear tire on my KLR under 3,000 miles. Hell we even wear out the tires on my wife's little underpowered Honda GT650 Hawk GT in under 3,000 miles. Maybe the road are too straight in Nevada to get much tire wear. Saw that scooter at the Montreal bike show last month, sweet! Very tall. Spoke to a rep I knew since he was an organiser for last years Kawasaki GPS DualSport rides which are now sponsored by KTM, he had bought one for himself even without actually hearing one run. His previous ride was a 640 Adventure. There was a deal for free hard bags recently so I don't think they were moving much on base price. Your bike is probably worth 4-4,500 here in Montreal, trade-in would be a lot less though. Riley A15 Montreal Born in Regina though!
