Can you describe in detail what happened, and how you reacted when the engine locked up? I think that this was a serious catastrophic event at high speed and it sounds like you did the right things at the right time and walked away out of it only with a broken down bike. Many people on this list could potentially learn a lot of important details from your accident so I ask you to share this with us, in hopes that we react accordingly when something like this occurs. I like the bike. I think you can get one in Canada or you could have got one. I heard Honda stopped makeing them last year. A very nice bike. kinda like the Yamaha TDM900
