I guess I should get off my ass and weigh my KLR, with reserve + 1 gal in the tank. I removed the fairing, and the instrument cluster, and I "think" the DRZ front end might weigh a little less. With the stock pipe I could take off the happy-trails OSR racks, but why bother. The KLR already has a too-forward weight distribution for a dirt machine. I'm fitting 15-45 gearing next (instead of 14-43). This should put the rear wheel almost a whole inch forward, shortening the wheelbase and taking a little weight off the front. Hopefully the K760 won't hit the swingwarm.
