About age I'm 37 have been riding off and on for close to 20 years. My
first bike when I was about 20 was a Harley Sportster. I nearly got
killed on it.While not fast by Ninja standards it was way to much for
someone of limited experience(and handled like crap).I just bought a
2001 klr650. I nearly let my ego push me into buying a ricerocket.I'm
glad I didn't the klr is plenty powerful enough for any normal use
and it can do many things a regular street bike simply can't. It's
the best thing since individually wrapped vacuum packed sliced cheese.

I'm 55, retired, and live where we can ride just about all year round, and I
do. About 25,000 miles a year. Old back injury precludes dirt riding, but not
1000 miles days when necessary. I have had all the bikes, but came back for
another KLR two months ago. I just have to have one to ride. Crash with my
last one said I can't ride that fast anymore. That's OK, ride slower, sort
of. Done up specifically for road use, and it does it great.
My other bikes sit while I ride my favorite. The KLR.

43 y.o. here in Orygun. On my second KLR after 35 years of riding. Other
bikes have more glitz, glamour and go... but what can I say, the KLR just
makes me smile.

Been riding since 13 and I'm now 52.9. Twenty five or so bikes that
were just practice while waiting for the KLR. The only bike I liked
almost as much as the KLR was a 750 two stoke triple, the Kawasaki H-
2. Very similar fun per pound ratio.

55 next month, been riding for 40 years and just love that KLR!
Does kind of hurt when you high side and the brake leaver takes a chunk
out of the side of one's foot!
cheers

Hello to all. I'm 41, 42 in Oct. I feel about 21, look older than 41
because of my gray beard.
I have a 2001 klr 650, a 96 BMWK1100LT, a 86 RM 125 and a 85 225 Tri Moto.
Love to ride, ride to live, just need more time to ride. And I like going to
HOOTERS
for the HOT WINGS, ha ha. I really do.
Thats about it for now,

Bob, Have you tried the Hooters wings nude with three Mile Island sauce? Without the breading thier even better. I ate an order of fifty by myself. I was so busy watching that I didn;t even realize it. If you like oysters, their bucket of steamers is a nice snack. The only thing I don't like about Hooters is their name I'd have called it Tits & Ass and told the women's rights organizations to fuck off. -- bierdo Freedom of speech - take it all the way!> Hello to all.
