smelly, ichy helmet. how do i clean it?

As I recently posted, I now have my salvaged 2002 KLR with only 465 miles put back together with a replacement frame, front end parts from Devon, and a few misc. other new parts. Now for the hard part, getting it registered, titled and legal. I went to the local Virginia DMV office with a pile of papers including the North Carolina salvage title for the bike, and a West Virginia title for the 1988 replacement frame. The clerk was baffled and didn't know how to proceed, or what to title it as. A supervisor was equally confused. So after another day with DMV researching my problem bike I got a call with a plan. I have to convert the NC salvage title to a Virginia salvage title, convert the W.VA title to a VA title, send it all to the state capital with a detailed description of what was replaced, pictures and receipts. The DMV will send out a DMV officer who will inspect the bike, and put a new VIN # on the frame, and present me with a Virginia title and registration for a "2003 Reconstructed Motorcycle." It will no longer be a Kawasaki KLR 650 in the eyes of the state of Virginia. So now will you guys let me continue to hang out here with my "2003 650cc Recon"? In Nevada you would escape the hassle. Nevada would treat it as a simple matter of having dropped a new engine in the WV bike and then issue a Nevada title for the WV bike and then issue a plate.
