Dan Moscicki danmoscicki@... has filed a complaint against me with PayPal for not delivering merchandise as promised. He e-mailed me a frantic request for a doohickey, which he had to have RIGHT NOW. The only way I could provide one was to persuade Pete Wittstruck to surrender his (which was here for rework). I broke down a setup for Pro Steel, losing six hours of setup and run time, to rework the doohickey in time for that day's mail. He squawked when I charged him $45.00 for the doohickey and the expense of immediate turnaround. You other vendors on The List have been warned. Jake You're welcome to visit my website at:

Then why the heck did'nt just go to his local Kawi dealer and buy a OEM part if it was so mission time critical.. That kinda crap just flames me... oh oh oh oh I am special... Sorry had to vent that before going to sleep. Jake keep up the good work, and as a coffee cup I once seen reads: "Dont let the Bastards, get you down !!" Dooden "Ride On"

Jake, I'm appalled that my small sacrifice, and your greater sacrifice is rewarded in such a manner. I bought and paid for my doohickey prior to the Canyonlands Classic meet with the understanding that I would take delivery of my doohickey upon my arrival at the event, which I did. After you learned that some of the early doohickeys might be out of tolerance due to a faulty Kawasaki made part which was used as a standard for your doohickeys, you offered to re-work those doohickeys. I returned mine to you for the re-work. You emailed and im'd me explaining that Mr. Moscicki was in desperate need for a doohickey and asked if I could help by allowing you to send my doohickey to him. I was glad to help a fellow motorcyclist. I jokingly teased you Jake, about my doohickey being special because it was made special for the Canyonlands Motor Classic and as such was inscriprted with "MOAB 02". You assured me mine would still be special and when I received the replacement doohickey was pleasantly surprised to fine that it had been inscribed with my name,"PETE". Jake , I really appreciate your work, knowledge and willingness to share that with all of us.....and Dan Moscicki, fuck off.......I hope you never need help from someone else in our "community"

Mine reads " Let me drop everything and work on YOUR problem" and the other "You can't schedule stupidity" From the prophetic wit of Dilbert. As for mr. peckerhead, Fuck him. He'll need our help again someday, whether along the road or on list. He'll get it, with all 2338 barrels, 00 buck et-al. millerized (ordered 2 doohickeys, 2 springs, and Post Office almost decided I didn't need them. I dealt with Jake, not PayPal, not the list, no- one but Jake) Thanks Jake!!!!! One is on the way to the platers for GOLD Outfitting. I'll just call it my Gold Member:-) --- In DSN_klr650@y..., "dooden"

I've placed 2 orders with Jake so far. The first order got lost in the mail and Jake shipped the order again to me at his expense. I told him that if the first shipment ever showed I send it back to him and he was OK with that agreement. The first shipment did finally show up and was returned to him. The second shipment was received just last week and arrived about 3 days after he shipped it. Jake has always answered my questions and emails - you will hear no complaints from me - just a whole bunch of Kudos!!!! I am sure I will order something from him again one of these days as he is a honest and conscientious man. Jake, You went to the trouble to manufacture the lever and spring. You're hardly getting rich on these items; basically it was a favor to the klr community. No good deed goes unpunished. Bogdan

I'm not really impressed with Cycle Barn. I have started to do some business with Waldron Kawasaki in Issaquah. New Kawasaki distributor, and nice folks.
