has got a cure for cancer, but the doc/hospital/HMO megaplex has paid them off because there's too much profit in providing beds, radiation and chemo to cancer victims... Wait, they don't need to pay them off, chemo goes on forever, a cure puts an end to the problem. Perhaps the E.Ts at Pine Gap have even offered a cure as part of their Faustian bargain, would like to impose one (to ensure a healthy food supply), but the illuminati have persuaded them to hold off - for now. Why, that's as farfetched as thinking that Bush ignored the intelligence warnings brcause he needed something like 9/11 to get us to quit grumbling about the election and bolster his shaky mandate.

timing chain broken?

Post by dfasgold » Sun Oct 06, 2002 10:53 am

I have an 86 KLR250 that I brough back from the dead. It was running fine, then yesterday it stopped suddenly. The kickstarter kicks without any resistance, and it feels like the piston isn't moving. Any ideas what this could be? Some incidents that could be related: There have been several times when the engine has appeared to freeze up. i.e. try to start it but the kickstart lever wont move, then turn the crank bolt around with a socket and it is okay. I have a feeling this is not going to be a fun repair. David in Oklahoma
