Anyone read "Ghost Rider" by Neil Peart? For any old fogies out they're, sorry... Neil Peart is the Drummer for the rock band "Rush" Probably the best drummer of all time..ask any musicians if you doubt it. Anyway.. In '97' his daughter was killed on her way to her first year of college...and his wife is diagnosed with terminal cancer and dies the same year. He does what anyone who values their sanity would...Says to hell with it all. Sells the multi million dollar property and takes off on his bike. His little road trip ends 86,000 kms and 14 mo. later. Proof that helmets heal minds and leather, hearts. Have only read exerpts so far. BTW he rides an 1100GS. To you canadians.. forgive my need to explain who Neil is. Not all these guys even listen to rock and roll let alone have good taste in music.. However I know that N.P. is the God of Thunder!!!

As a drummer myself, I look forward to reading his book. Neil is a very articulate & intelligent man. I am sure it is well written. ....... now to find the time to sit down with a book ... winters coming,,,,,,, - john T. 84 KLR 600 01 ZRX 1200 longrider_650 wrote:
