Hi everyone. I am thinking of equipping my klr650 with tims aluminum paniers and racks. Do any of you listers use these, and if so, how do you like them? Installation - smooth, or finnicky? Fit and finish? Durability (off road). I lost my jcwhitney trunk in utah, it simply jumped its mounts, and I dont want to lose all my stuff again. Thanks for the help. Also, is the 605.00 dollars including the top box or quick release hardware? And dooes it come with the rear brace? Thanks. Ian, A7, CA

Ian, Ditto on talking to Tim - I was by his new shop two weeks ago, he fixed highway pegs that were way out of any warranty! The panniers he is manufacturing look very good - and the ones on the bike I bought (a two time AK veteran, set up by Stu Heaslet) have now held up to three AK trips and show no signs of weakness or failure!! DeWalt electric impact wrench, two seconds on the trigger and the nut spins off. Just hold the other end of each shaft wrapped with a rag, no wrenches needed. The case and sockets are out in my truck, otherwise I would say what size they are. Been there. Done that. EJ
