I expect there wasn't a snowballs chance my Explorer bag would snag jack-squat, specially since i sewed the side pockets for it onto my Revpack. But I rejoiced in cutting my kill switch down anyway, it's the first and only thing my Dremel tool has been useful for. Tom A15

I don't know what wolfman explorer tankbag you guys own but mine has a plastic loop on the left and right top corners. The side bags are connected to the main bag with two plastic buckles, and the both side bags have a material loop on the top front corner. I don't know which one of these caught on my killswitch and pulled it off,but they are all covered with electrical tape now so that it will never happen again. I also used my dremal tool to take the tit off the top of the killswitch. This has happened to a lot of people and I don't think it is because we didn't think things through. You can't foursee every possible problem. If we talk about these things on this list,it will help the newbies to avoid an expensive incident.......................Wayne

It's not Wolfmans fault that folks zip the double zipper up to the top right hand corner. They are actually to be zipped to meet in the front just above the pocket. This allows easy and quick access to the contents from the riders perch in the flight deck. > > geez...some folks just never think things through then blame the equipment.... > > Sorry, if I pissed anyone off but I'm beginning to tire of folks that can't figure stuff out then blame a manufacturer. This ranks right up there with the "I don't like it cause it makes my horn blow when I turn the bars. Geez, turn the bars back so it doesn't press in the button then loosen the strap, and slide the thing back. reposition the darn thig. Hi Guys, Not sure why I was brought into this conversation, but I don't own a Wolfman tank bag, and so I can't give any insight, into whether it rubs against the kill switch etc. Thanks Dave

Re-folding flimsy maps shortens their lifespan considerably.

My point for Swampy would be that IT'S A DAMN MAP WINDOW. Maps come in a standard size, so you'd think that Wolfman would realize this and simply make the map window the proper size instead of making you contort your map like a 18-year old hooker in a Thailand strip club (not that I've been to one ;). A map window that is too small for two folded sections of a standard size US map is A DESIGN FLAW. US consumers put up with far too much bad design and shoddy workmanship already. My $100 (thanks to Arthur Anderson, I never knew my opinion was so valuable!) Z DC

So quit your whining and: a. Sell it. b. Send it back. c. Have a whatever you think a proper window is put on it. I find the Wolfman to be a great product. I learned early in life how to fold paper, a skill I have managed to perfect over the years. Did you know you can fold an 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper and put it in an envelop that is about 1/3 the size? Unbelievable! Whatever you do, don't buy the Wolfman Tank panniers. They will destroy your concept of American engineering because they work really well. They are an odd shape and I don't think you can find anything the correct shape to fit in there. Gino

Big deal. I learned to fold my money in my wallet and double it!!!! It's a handy guy thing. However a 18 year old stripper would never go for it, unless it was a male strip bar. -----Original Message----- From: gpokluda [mailto:k650dsn@...] Sent: Tuesday, July 02, 2002 6:43 AM To: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_klr650] Re: Moron Wolfman

FWIW, Wolfman has changed the window on the Explorer tank bag and it now holds two sections of a AAA road map. __Arden Kysely
