new jacket

[Frosty]

It's an old topic, but I'm looking for a small tank bag that would be used for personal protection items, i.e. pepper spray, .45 (Glock 30), and cell phone. Sure the Wolfman system looks great, but I don't need the "whole shebang." I just want a small bag that straps on the gas tank of my A15 so I can tour the many "dry" lake beds here in AZ without having to stress the increasing number of charles manson wanna bees. You know the kind - ex high tech employees - like me.... 1. Small tank bag 2. Water proof - preferably 3. Inexpensive - around $50 - hopefully Thanks guys, Frosty

The Co-Pilot is a good choice for everyday riding, although it doesn't carry the kind of load you might want to have while traveling. Mine is on the KLR whenever I'm on it, and gets off with me. There's no Glock or pepper spray in it, but it does carry a small tool kit, zip-ties, wire, latex gloves, small air pump, tire gauge, flashlight, notebook, spray bottle and rag for my visor, sunglasses, and occasionally a few other odds and ends. You can use it with Kawasaki's tank bag for the KLR, but it probably isn't going to work with any tank bag that covers the filler cap. Dreas Nielsen

Frosty- I have a Tourmaster minitankbag, magnetic, which is an excellent fit on the KLR 650 tank. It has a zippered rear entry slot with flap, and a G30 would probably be placed there with some padding around. -David J., A16
