Motorcycle.com's 2000 Valuebike Shootout Shows the KLR 650 at: 37.5 HP @ 6350 RPM 35.5 ft/lbs @ 2750 RPM I believe this is fair compared to anything else I've seen quoted. Cheers, Steve A11

ccdsp-new year's day ride update
Pack Members and Anyone Else who'd like to come-
It looks like the weather will cooperate for this ride. The forecast is for
partly cloudy skies on Monday with a chance of rain late. Tuesday is
virtually the same-the rain shouldn't hit until we are safely back home.
Temps should be pretty reasonable for this time of year with the cloud cover,
I'd expect 40-60 degrees during the ride, so it would be a good idea to dress
in layers with rain gear on hand. We can pretty much expect to find mud and
puddles on the dirt sections, which should give the bikes that "seasoned"
look by lunch time. Please let me know if there are any questions.
Looking forward to seeing everyone,
David
