polish the plastic

List, 98 KLR For Sale. Dark Blue/green color, supertrapp IDS2 pipe and K&N jet kit, new back tire, 4700 mi., Chase harper luggage and optional Sears Craftsman Trunk (okay, it's a router case, but makes an excellent trunk). You have an A14 and the plastic is fading already? I guess they don't make them like they used to. I generally use cheapo cut'n'polish (rusty brown colour). It has a good cleaning action and I have never seen it take off colour, but my plastic has never faded either. Just about any wax or polish will do the job, household polish like Mr Sheen or Pledge will work, too. Silicone spray lube is a nice engine polish. For the black plastic I might use Armourall or black wax if I'm in the mood. Mister_T Melbourne Australia
