lighting mods for the klr 650
Greetings-
I am a very new KLR 650 owner, and am glad to have
found a place to read about what experienced riders
say about the bike.
I am looking for a headlight mod that will throw more
light up front, and possibly do a consistant muted
blinking, as I have seen on some HDs and crotch
rockets.
I would also like a tail light that blinks when you
stop.
Has anyone done anything like this? Can you tell that
I am on the street a lot!?!
Thanks
Glen

I use the Kisan H4 headlight modulator with a 55/100W bulb in my KLR650's headlight. It works well.
I have not yet figured out which Kisan taillight modulator would work. I believe they sell both bulbs with the modulator electronics built-in and they sell separate electronics modulator boxes.

mexico nights - mariola?
It sounds to me like my friend Kathryn met Mariola down in MEX.....
"Hi Billy,
I m enjoying San Miguel de Allende, a Colonial city,
full of Mexicans, artists, U.S. retirees, and the
curious. I met a woman who started her motorcycle
ride in Alaska and was heading to the bottom of the
PanAm Highway to break some kind of record, but has
stopped in San Miguel, hesitant about the world
situation or maybe the situation in South America.
Anway there are lots of motorcycles meandering in our
cobblestoned alleyways.
love,
Kathryn"
