high point boots
Among addicted cross-country racers, High Point enduro boots are one of the
"weapons" of choice. You're right, they only come in black, and they aren't
sexy, but thy do the job, and they stay together.
IMHO, the WORST are MSR ! I have gone through two pair in two seasons, they
rip and tear, and the buckles break. To their credit though, they replaced
the first pair after I had ridden in them only four times - they started to
unstitch in the boot part. I still would not buy them again.

When I went to Mid-O last week, my buddy on the Electra Glide complained about the tweet and accused the Mighty KLR of sounding like a bug. He was right, of course. There were a few bikes you could always identify by their exhaust note: the Harleys, of course; the Ducs; and, unfortunately, all of the KLRs. Sigh.
