beaver mustard nklr

It was written: Nice to have good mustard out on the road, one of life's little pleasures. I think the author got the words switched around. Given the options which would you want to find after a good day's ride?

You're right, it should have read - 'nice to have road mustard out on the beaver...' Rich

kawi's saddle bag protector arm

Post by Tom Vervaeke » Mon Mar 05, 2001 9:41 am

Hello: If anyone's interested in purchasing the $45 Kawasaki metal "Protector" please contact me. I have on sitting on the work bench. It's a useless piece of metal. The PO of my 99 KLR had it mounted along with the Kawi saddlebags (they work fine). The metal protector arm did not do it's job and my right side plastic is both scratched and melted at the bottom. I installed SU racks from Happy Trails. My $45 Kawi bar now sits unused. My advise (FWIW) is to purchase any of the Happy Trail rack systems and use the Kawi or other soft bags for everyday use. I also purchase the 35L hard luggage but haven't had a chance to do a big trip yet (still winter here in CO).
