what kind of cover should i buy?

I use the DOWCO Guardian, size G50. It's a near custom fit for the KLR if you don't have a tail box or saddle bags. DOWCO makes other sizes for "dressed" bikes. It sheds water so it is not "breathable" but it has a vent to release condensation. It has a soft panel in the area of the fairing to protect the windshield from scratches. I wouldn't use it for long-term outdoor storage but it keeps the cats, bird poop, sap and sun off the ride. $53.53 shipped from http://www.accwhse.com They make less "weatherproof" covers as well. The covers to fit "Sport/Custom 500 to 1400 cc's" are the perfect size for the KLR. Todd A10 Jay wrote:
