Get one! Get a handlebar mount, lots of them available. I use Garmin's
bicycle mount but lots think it is too frail. Best and most expensive is
probably tourtech's but the A-loop model is good and inexpensive.
My Garmin 2+ is about ready for trade in, has no built in map. I want a
3+, just waiting for the excuse. But the GPS is really worth its weight
off highway. I've used mine very productively both on and off but on is
more for accurate speed and distance. YMMV.
