>Fred and I were told a couple days ago that next year's Utah Get-Together
will require permits from the BLM. This will significantly impact both the
cost and logistics of the Get-Together. We'll keep everyone posted on next
year's event as soon as we figure out what hoops we have to jump through.

Well that is unfortunate! On the bright side will we now be able to have
actual planned and organized rides.

Hello to all road warriors, the dual sport bug bit me hard. Last night I brought home my new 2001 KLR 650. Hot damn, its nice. I really like the silver and green combo, looks better than the pictures. After work yesterday I rushed home and installed my Dual Star center stand and Acerbis front disk cover. Every thing fit great, the center stand was really great. Can't wait till I have it broke in so I can get past that 4000 RPM mark. My name is Bob Shaffer, 40 (old geazer) married, live in Clinton, LA. Been riding for about 26 years. I've always had Hondas till now, I now ride a 96 BMW K1100LT. The KLR will be my solo have fun with bike. I got it from Calmes Motor Sports, Denham Springs, LA.
Bye for now, Bob
P.S. I like chili dogs and Hooters !
