Cosmo, I've searched far & wide; I haven't found a heavy tube that fits the rear wheel of a klr. Let a fellow Slav know if you indeed have a source. The "extra heat" rap sounds like more of the silly input listers are regularly feed from dealer's service departments. Then again, what do I know. I've been using normal tubes for 20 years. I use low inflation of 8-12psi for hardcore offroad (forest, not much desert). I can't imagine heavy-duty tubes are a necessity. Might help for Baja.... I don't like them because they are heavy and hard to deal with. Might work well for other riding/mekkaniking styles, but I sure wouldn't unbolt a wheel just to make the change. Size: 2.75-3.50-21 Type Super Competition. Its my spare tube so I haven't used it yet. My dealer ordered it for me a year ago, and I don't know where it came from, it looks and feels heavy. John

I tend to use lard and baby pwder and 'grease' the tube, the lard seals the puncture while the baby powder allows the lard to congeal. This way I carry lard and use it for both my tubes, chain, and any other areas that may require a lubin'. carl.

Cool, Organic Slime. You're a real earth guy, Carl. Lard is also best for frying catfish, way better than oil in refried beans and the list goes on. I'll never forgive Nabisco for caving in to the wooses and taking it out of their crackers; they haven't been the same.
