Haven't done any serious trails yet, but can say that the KLR carries
my wife and I riding 2-up around town and on gravel/dirt roads with
no prob.
I weigh 255 and she weighs 120 (oops am I supposed to reveal that?

Have not gotten to that point on my 2000 model yet, but looking
forward to the experience. Heard from others that it is a no prob
thing.
