I'm begining to think it's a prerequisite for anyone applying for a job at a motorcycle dealer to be rude and unpleasant. It certainly seems to be the rule here in Pittsburgh, with very few exceptions. -Dave http://www.city-net.com/~davekle/

The parts dept. of Point Cycle, seems knowledgeable, friendly and not to mention very willing to give me a great discount on Stock KLR parts. I might as well live on the other side of the world from them as I'll never have the chance to use their Service Dept. but you might give Glenn or Doug a ring if you need parts that are never in stock at normal dealers. Apparently they are a distribution center and usually have my most obscure parts in stock. That's where I wound up going to get my tub changed and in my prior statement I would inculde Point Cycle in the "few exceptions" catagory. They also happen to be only a few minutes from my house ;^) I'm going to go back to them for my inspection and see how that goes. Hopefully Point Cycle will wind up being the diamond in the rough becuase I damn sure ain't goint to be doing business with any of the others. The one other shop that wasn't bad was Zanotti's up in Butler, but that's kind of a trudge for me. As for the others, I've been put on terminal hold on the phone, been ignored in the stores and I've been waiting for a choke cable that I ordered from Gatto in Tarentum about two weeks ago. -Dave Dash Weeks wrote:

Dogwoods and azaleas in bloom in N. GA. Vidalia onions be ready in early June.

Never had a problem myself, but some may think Deliverance was hillbilly "Dual Sport" ;-). With place names like Chattoochee, Chattooga, Cherry Log, Tugaloo, Hiwassee, Blue Ridge and Brasstown, you will not be disappointed if you want -- Adventure. And speaking of adventure, all Outlanders visiting GA should try grits, boiled okra, fried green tomatoes, and a RC and Moon Pie (but not at the same time)! Good BBQ too! Bubba Knot

I've been to Gatto a few times. They seem more concerned with remodelling than customer service and sales. The place does look really cool though. By the way, have you checked out the website for our Central PA tour??? Go to: http://www.personal.psu.edu/mjv2/motoland The event is shaping up nicely. We have some great routes planned, and bring a camera! Thanks, Mark B2 A2
