[dsn_klr650] replace rear shock??

Post by LPetty4585@aol.com » Sun Apr 09, 2000 3:51 pm

I had my old shock rebuilt with an external adjustable res. replaced spring with straight 6.2, like the results, mainly offroad 260lbs with gear. Ran a new stock from DualStar in Mexico last week with stock spring worked OK on unloaded bike. Revalve and spring are worth the $. Larry

help, racks for aerostitch soft saddlebags?

Post by kenneth scott » Sun Apr 09, 2000 6:53 pm

Dear List, I am thinking about the dry bag saddlebag from Aerostitch ($167.00US). I have heard good things about them and can't see needing hard luggage at this time. Should I go with the DualStar muffler guard OR should I get Tim's Racks to keep it away from the muffler? I would like to go cheap but I don't want to melt my new bags. And could I go two up with this setup? I am tall 6'3" but the passenger is 5'5" and 113lbs. Thanks in advance! Ken A13 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
