~~~Hey Marc, Centerstands are nice to have. I have one on my one and only
current motorcycle, a 2005.5 KTM 950A, but it came with the centerstand already
installed when I bought it last year about this time. When I bought my 08' KLR
in late 07', it didn't come equipped with a centerstand, nor did I feel one was
necessary. Let's put it this way, for what it would cost to buy one and install
it myself, I'd rather spend that money on gas and tires. I can easily deal with
getting a wheel on or off a bike fully loaded or not, on the side of the road or
on a trail. Necessity is the Mother of Invention=:-)
