Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what would happen if i add a little TT
oil (oil used in two stroke motorcycle engines) to the unleaded petrol in
the tank?will it not lubricate the valve seats? even if it might make the
car smoke a little.

I am using Champion L 82C spark plugs. I am using 98 octane lead free
petrol. As such the engine runs very fine but looking at the colour of
the plugs I feel these spark plugs run a little on the 'cool' side. I am
very curious to hear what other people are using and what experience
they have.

You wll foul up the plugs and do nothing for the valves try REDEX if you
must have something!

I'm also using Champion RL82C's and 93 octane Amoco or Shell unleaded. My
engine is a stage 2 and 11 to 1 compression ratio pistons. Car runs super
and has since 1959 when I rebuilt the engine.

I'm currently using unleaded regular fuel, and Bosch 851 plugs in my TC,
which has stage 2 engine. No Problems thus far in several thousand miles.

Depends on what your compression ratio you have. Most cylinder heads
have been milled so much, that you will probably want to use premium
unleaded. I ran regular unleaded for awhile, annd think that it
contributed to an early rebuild.(Burned a hole in #4 piston.)

I switched a long time ago from NGK to Bosch Platinum plugs. W8AP or
4214 part number. If you have Champion spark plug holders, you might
want to replace the Bosch screw-on terminals with Champion or NGK
screw-on terminals. Champion or NGK terminal profile mates best with
Champion spark plug holder.
