Just received my T-ABC badge and am looking for suggestions on how to mount
it. It has two nuts solder to the back along the 12:00 6:00 axis.

I'm the guy that designed it, Tom, and I made up the attached sketch for a stainless steel bracket (you can probably find a scrap from a commercial kitchen supply house that does custom sinks and such). These things are available from Moss, et al, but I don't know if they're stainless or just chrome-plated mild steel. Stainless is forever.

Austin (& everyone else), please remember that as an anti-virus measure
the MG-TABC list no longer accepts file attachments. If you send one, the
attachment is stripped off and only your message text makes it to the
list.

When you have a file you think others on the list might be interested in,
there are two options:

1) Send it to Walter to be put on the MG-TABC web site for all to see or
download.

2) Send a message to the MG-TABC list offering to send the file as an
attachment via private e-mailo to anyone who wants it.

Such is life on the virus-plagued Internet of 2002.

By the way, last time I bought some badge brackets from Moss Motors they
wer stainless steel, but that was many years ago.

I believe that there's a third way also, Chip (& others) - go to Yahoo Groups (those of us that can) and upload it there for every that can get into it to view.

Yes, but the "those of us that can" is the catch. Many of us who were on
this mailing list before it moved from eGroups to YahooGroups have no idea
what our Yahoo usernames and passwords are. My old eGroups one no longer
works, and all attempts to find out from Yahoo have failed. On the other
hand the MG-TABC web site and e-mail are universally accessible.

Not a problem. You should be able to register or reregister with
Yahoo and with a new ID and link that ID up with the email address
you use on the TABC site and you are good as new.

But I agree that the best place to post our attachments is on the
TABC web site through Walter (as if Walter doesn't have enough to do
already).

I have no idea what the vendor is asking. Can someone please advise the
vendor (Rjhatsea) the size and thread of the nut on the back of the existing

Jim, the nuts on mine are 8-32......

I believe that they are 10/32". This badge mounting is more popular with
grille mounting, than badge bar.
Any possibility of placing a tang on the bottom of the badge, for direct
mounting into a badge bar clip?
