Suspension Parts

Post by steve.fielder@talk21.com » Mon Dec 10, 2001 1:16 pm

Hi to all T Typers I am currently carrying out some much needed "maintainance" on my recently acquired `47 TC and am trying to locate the following; lower rear shock absorber brackets which locate the drop link from the lever arm to the bottom of the spring. The ones I have are bent/twisted and no one seems to be able to supply new parts. Alternatively can the old ones be straightened etc. without any detrimental effects as to strength etc. Thanks for any advice, help et al Steve Fielder (younger member @ 38) TC4219 -------------------- talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at http://www.talk21.com

Steve, Have you tried Abingdon Spares? They show those parts (unless it's the drop link itself in their on-line catalog - and I think either they or Moss is selling the links now. http://www.abingdonspares.com/cgi-win/abscat.exe Gene From: steve.fielder@talk21.com Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2001 21:10:17 GMT+00:00 To: mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com Subject: [mg-tabc] Suspension Parts Hi to all T Typers I am currently carrying out some much needed "maintainance" on my recently acquired `47 TC and am trying to locate the following; lower rear shock absorber brackets which locate the drop link from the lever arm to the bottom of the spring. Steve, Check out Abingdon Spares. I just bought some from them and they look pretty good. (Of course I haven't fitted them yet.) Doug TC 5850
