fs: pelican 1550 cases and foam

For some reason, my post via email didn't stick, so I'm posting directly through Yahoo.Anyway, time for me to thin the KLR gear and parts pile.
I have TWO (2) used Yellow Pelican 1550 cases available. They have holes in them and have been mounted to side racks with J-hooks. Of course, these holes can be tapped & plugged for whatever mounting scheme you use. This system served me well for many trips and the boxes stayed watertight. They have a little rash in spots but are still solid and presentable. $65.00 EACH ($120.00 for the pair) plus shipping from 16877. I also have ONE (1) set of new pick & pluck foam for the 1550 case: $38.00 plus shipping. Thanks!

Hi, I had a guy make my racks, he is pretty reasonable. I can dig up his number if you want it. Although I saw this YouTube Video and I think this guy has made the best pannier racks I have seen anywhere. He is just building his bike, but he needs to sell these. I did not understand the original post in its entirety.  My apologies to the OP.I am happy you've had good experience with Delvac.  I still feel when it is available I will recommend JASO-MA oil because there is no question what so ever as to its compatibility with a wet clutch and gear box.  There is nothing to that effect on Delvac so there is the possibility it could have an additive added that would not be compatible without me knowin since it is not evaluated for such. On the other hand, if in an area like say, Botswana and you need oil, as long as one used a petroleum compatible oil, any petroleum based oil would work.  When the case presents itself using even used oil is better than the alternative of running without.  But still when possible I will stick with JASO-MA oil since they are an authority.  And I would go back to a rated oil at my next change.
