mounting via left footpeg

With my 29" inseam, I've been mounting my bikes using the left peg for many years. Only thing I've found it later or soon the left peg rubber insert will tear. On the KLR you need to check the footpeg bolts anyhow once in awhile, they tend to loosen up if you using the pegs lots. Once I took off on my KLR and while swinging my right foot over, it hit and hung on the top box it had on and I fell bruising my heel. At my age, it took several years for this to heal where it didn't bother me. Needless to say, never again.
